Used for measuring length or marking straight lines accurately.

try square 

Used to check and mark 90° angles on pieces of wood to ensure accuracy and squareness in joins and cuts.

Tenon saw 

A small, stiff-backed saw used for precise, straight cuts in wood, especially for joinery work like tenons or dovetails.

mallet 

A wooden or rubber-headed hammer used to strike chisels or adjust joints without damaging the wood surface.

chisel 

A sharp-edged hand tool used to cut, carve, or shape wood. Often struck with a mallet to remove small amounts of material precisely, especially in joinery work like mortises or dovetails.

 

 

Hammer and nails 

A hammer drives nails into materials (usually wood) to join pieces together or secure components.

cordless screwdriver

hand planer

Glue

clamp 

A device used to hold pieces of wood securely in place while glue dries or while cutting, drilling, or assembling, ensuring accuracy and stability.

 

 

cordless router 

A battery-powered handheld tool used to hollow out or shape edges and surfaces of wood. Ideal for creating grooves, decorative edges, and precise cuts without needing to be plugged in, offering mobility and convenience.

band saw 

A power tool with a continuous looped blade used to cut wood, metal, or plastic. Excellent for making straight cuts, curved shapes, and resawing (slicing thicker boards into thinner pieces) with precision.

bench belt sander 

A stationary power tool with a continuous sanding belt mounted on rollers. Used to smooth, shape, or remove material from wood or metal surfaces quickly and evenly. Ideal for flattening large surfaces or rounding edges.
